Subject: Peter Cardinal Retirement
We’ve slowly been decreasing Peter’s work schedule over the past couple of years and now we are decreasing it to zero.
Peter is leaving us at the end of July to go off into the sunset and enjoy his free time.
Peter started with Shopko/Provantage in April of 1997 so we’ve spent more than 13 years together (I’ll let Peter do the math as to exactly how long this is and how it compares)

Why are you leaving the company?
Because I want to.
Ok, but do you have a job with another company? I don't know.
Medco has no need to know that.
I have a series of standard questions that are asked in every
exit interview. How would you summarize Medco as a company?
Unmanaged.
Um, ok. What did you think about your opportunities
for growth and advancement in the company?
Nil.
What was the best thing about working at Medco?
The pay was decent.
What was the worst thing about working at Medco?
Being treated like a "body shop" contractor.
Do you have a specific recommendation for how to improve Medco?
Hmm ... specific ... I don't think I have a specific answer
