These photos were scanned from prints made in the student newspaper's
darkroom. James Kane was the editor of the ncChronicle (that is, the
North Central Chronicle). Kane continued in journalism and rose to an
editorial position in a suburban Chicago newspaper. Photographer Daryl
Fansler was assistant editor and entered United Methodist ministry in
Illinois. Photographer Alpheus Timothy Appenheimer had a job in the
student union, among other interests, and later practiced medicine in
Illinois.
